When one of our regular clients told us that they have recently purchased this dwelling but they did not like it. We had to ask ‘’why did you buy it?’’ The answer is simple, the property is in the suburbs of London, where building plots are few and far between and those that are found, prove very, very expensive.

Our clients challenged us to make something of it. Something special and as you would expect, increase the value of it significantly.

Having enjoyed their home for three years, our clients decided to sell it, to move to a new venture in Kensington. In doing so, they found that they had made over 100% profit on the cost of the original purchase and the full building cost. The sale price being more than three million pounds.

This project shows that re-modeling an existing house is well worth it. It is all about detail and being brave enough, to make it unique. Without over simplifying it, a project like this simply needs imagination.

Apart from the design, the correct materials must also be used to create the correct impression and ambience. This project would never have created half as much profit without the appropriate quality of materials and fittings. ‘’Cheap’’ materials will create a ‘’cheap’’ image and consequently reflect in the value of the final project.

An extensive understanding of interior design and landscaping can be the making of a home.

As the design and photos indicate, we believe that we have successfully achieved more than what was expected of us, which is qualified by our client.
